Snapple Straight Up - Billboard Advertisement
Here, my team and I created the idea of Snapple Straight Up tea billboard with, what would be, an extension of the Snapple sun.
We took the concept of Snapple's original idea of the three bottles of tea with their iconic three-leave tea leaves on each side. The twist is from the commercial storyboard concept of a "bar" theme, with our team being shown in shot glasses, with cubes of sugar to represent the amount of sweetness.
Together, we created our slogan, "However you like it, take it straight up". Keeping the amount of words minimal and easy to understand while driving on the highway, and would resonate well once the commercial advertisement would be shown before the billboard.
**Construction of billboard done by myself, Carolyn L. Pellegrino.

Snapple Straight Up - Magazine Advertisements
Here, the team and myself felt our magazine advertisement would be best portrayed as a sequence article, with bright, Snapple-esque colors, to really captures our viewers' attention. We kept the same "bar heme to better resonate with our audience. Each sequence will gradually show the increase in the amount of sugar in each tea, with a catchy phrase on each: "Simple. Sweet. Still a Treat" "However you like it" "Take it Straight Up".
**Take it Straight Up, being a play on words, as this particular Snapple tea is called Straight Up Tea
***Construction of magazine was by me, Carolyn L. Pellegrino; Photoshop was done by Carolyn L. Pellegrino and teammate Maria Venditti.

Snapple Straight Up - Commercial Storyboard
Here is a picture of the story board my team and I had created as the first piece for our campaign. We felt that a television advertisement would better emphasize, reach, and resonate with our audience, giving the rest of our advertising and marketing material more substance and meaning.
We started with a "bar" theme, demonstrating to our audience that this tea can be for anyone as it has so amny varieties of sugar levels and can appeal to everyone's taste buds.
We kept ethnicity a factor here, with much diversity in our drawings, as Snapple is known to use many different ethincities in their commercials and representations.
***Storyboard drawings and construction created by me, Carolyn L. Pellegrino; idea of storyline created by entire team.
